- The room for Puja should ideally be in the North-East of the
property
- The deities can be facing East, West or North. If they
happen to be facing the South,it is suggested that an idol of
Shivaji or Hanumanji be kept
- The color of the room is advised to be white or light yellow
or light blue and light yellow & white marble work for the floor
- The idols should also not face each other
- Any broken idol or torn photograph should not be kept within
the Puja room
- Ground floor is the favored place for the Puja room and
basement is strictly prohibited
