While buying a plot according to Vaastu Shastra the surrounding building or any natural resource also effects its inhabitants. One must study the near by surroundings before buying a land/plot.

Below are some tips related to the surrounding structures or resource:

• Any natural resource of water such as Ocean , River , Lakes which is near the plot/ land should be in the East or North of the Building constructed on it

•  Mountains, High-rise buildings or Multistroyed Apartments should be in the South or West of the plot

• Do not buy a plot which has larger plots on either sides

• Avoid a plot which is opposite or next to a hospital

• Avoid land too close to graveyards, cemeteries, crematoria or hospitals

• A Plot / Site should not be near a garbage dump or waste disposal
